SELENIZZA®
Selenizza SLN 120® is an admixture used to make high-performance products containing bitumen.
Use of impuritiesSelenizza SLN 120® profoundly changes the rheological properties of the natural binder. Depending on the amount addedSelenizza, and base bitumen grades, it is possible to accurately obtain the required penetration and/or softening temperature for the binder to be obtained.
Asphalt admixture is an important factorSelenizzathere is an increase in the hardness of the initial bitumen without a change in the elastic properties of the resulting binder.
BITUMEN POWDER
When repairing roads with potholes, it is convenient to regenerate old asphalt with bituminous powder with infrared burners. It is necessary to warm up the old asphalt in mobile machinery directly at the repair site, then pour bitumen powder (3 kg of bitumen powder per 1 m3 of mixture). After mixing at a certain temperature, the mixture is ready for pitting repair. Cobblestones made using bituminous powder have high crack resistance, strength, plasticity, resistance to rutting, practically do not penetrate and do not absorb water.
CONSTRUCTION BITUMEN
One of the most popular materials used in construction is essentially a resinous substance, a product of oil processing. It is widely used in the primary priming of concrete and asphalt structures, in the production of mastics, waterproofing, in the construction of bridges, dams, tunnels, basements, in the arrangement of the foundations of buildings, in the anti-corrosion coating of pipelines, in the laying of roofs.
ROOFING BITUMEN
The main advantage of roofing bitumen is its relatively low price. It is for this reason that many materials with similar properties cannot compete with bitumen, especially in the field of waterproofing foundations and repair roofing works. Roofing bitumen effectively protects the roofs of buildings from adverse external factors and is resistant to mechanical impact. Heated bitumen is ductile - it is easily applied to any surface and reliably seals cracks. They transport road bitumen (its price with delivery is an order of magnitude higher than in construction stores) in bitumen trucks, observing the necessary safety rules.
